Baker City, Oregon

Baker City is an historic town of 10,000 residents located in Northeastern Oregon.  It was once the largest town between Salt Lake City and Portland and it features many classic buildings from the gold-rush and lumber baron days of the past.  Major museums provide an excellent view of the past and for the last decade, proactive citizens and visionary governments have been focused on a new future.

Today, Baker City is being re-discovered and major projects have restored much of  the downtown area to it former luster and the town is moving forward with economic development and new housing starts.

Baker City offers many fine hotels, restaurants, an airport, museums and many tourist attractions.  Residents are delighted with their city and it is billed as the "Premier Rural Living Experience in Oregon".
